Bob Huffman, the founder of Huffman Trailer Sales, Inc., is a Harrisonburg native. He founded Huffman Litter Service Inc. in 1956, providing litter to the poultry growers in the Harrisonburg area.

Recognizing the need for an outlet for high quality stock and horse trailers in the Shenandoah Valley, Bob started selling Featherlite trailers in 1991 and since then the business has grown to include over 10 additional trailer manufacturers with an inventory of over 200 trailers.  As the business grew Bob moved it to a 25 acre lot on North Valley Pike (Rt. 11) in 1995, the present location. In 1997, the trailer business was split-off into a separate entity, Huffman Trailer Sales, Inc. and in 2007 a second location was added in Bristol, TN.

Bob is very active in Pine Grove Church of the Brethren. He is a member of the church board, a Sunday school teacher, and coordinates disaster relief.

Bob also served as treasure of the Young Farmers Organization for several years.

Heather Carroll grew up near her grandparent’s farm in Port Republic, VA.  She graduated from Spotswood High School and Blue Ridge Community College with a degree in Administrative Support Technology.  She joined Huffman Trailer Sales in Sept. 2006 after having worked for PGBH and Caldwell Banker.  Heather follows NHRA drag racing and loves spending time with her nieces and nephews as well as camping with her husband Bobby and their mini Daschund, Abbey.

Justin Via has been with Huffman Trailer Sales since Aug. 2006. John Pence is our most experienced trailer consultant.  He originally started working for Huffman Trailer Sales in 1991 and rejoins the staff after spending 12 years at another trailer dealership.  A native of Edinburg, VA, John graduated from Central High School and attended Blue Ridge Community College.  He is a big baseball fan and enjoys fishing and snow skiing.  Along with his dog Jackie, John lives on his farm in Edinburg, VA.  Click this link to send John an e-mail - john@huffmantrailers.com

Rocky Ward, a native of East Tennessee joined Huffman Trailers in October of 2007 as a sales manager of the Bristol, TN location.  He has many years of sales experience in both the automotive and real estate fields as well as being a mortgage banker and finance officer wih an area bank over the past few years.  He is an avid golfer and loves all sports especially baseball.  He attended East Tennesse State University on baseball scholarship.  He is married with 4 children and 8 grandchildren.  Click this link to send Rocky and e-mail - rocky@huffmantrailers.com
